Elias Winzeler
Singing teacher / vocal coach / tenor“My job as a singing teacher is not only to teach my students singing technique, but also to enable them to experience music as a form of expression and to put their musical visions into practice.” Elias
Elias Winzeler comes from a musical family and was surrounded by music from an early age. He sang in the choir at an early age and later expanded his musical training with piano lessons and solo singing. He will complete his master's degree in singing pedagogy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences in the summer of 2025, where he will be taught by Prof. Hans-Jürg Rickenbacher.
In addition to his work as a singing teacher, Elias will begin a master's degree in music theory after completing his studies, as he has a great interest in music history and music theory. He also has a great passion for foreign languages.
My vision
In his work as a singing teacher, Elias wants to counteract the widespread myth that singing is just a question of talent. He is convinced that singing is a learnable skill that can be further developed through targeted training and in-depth knowledge. His teaching is about giving learners the opportunity to realize their own musical visions and voice
to use as a tool of creative expression. He was a vocal coach in the Chorisma boys' choir at the MKS music school for four years
Schaffhausen and brings this valuable experience into his work as a teacher. His lessons are individual and flexible so that all learners can organize the time according to their own needs. Elias' goal is to promote the natural development of each individual and to respond to different learning needs.Training
- Currently: Master in music education, singing, classical music at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences
Stage experience
Elias regularly performs in various high-quality vocal ensembles. In 2024 he was accepted into the Zurich Singing Academy and the Basel Madrigalists, which further enriches his artistic work. As a concert and oratorio tenor, Elias regularly appears as a soloist, especially in the
Performance of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, whose cantatas he loves passionately. Elias Winzeler was heard in the opera productions The Turn of the Screw by Benjamin Britten and L'enfant et les sortilèges by Maurice Ravel. He was also allowed to participate as a tenor soloist in Joseph Haydn's Creation. With his diverse stage experience in opera, concert and oratorio, Elias Winzeler has developed a broad artistic horizon that enables him to work with great dedication both as a soloist and as a member of the ensemble.Teaching information:
