General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Classic Vocal Studio KlG
I. Lessons
1. Entry into the Classic Vocal Studio (CVS) is possible at any time. Trial subscriptions last 3 months from the date of purchase, Mezzopiano and Mezzoforte subscriptions 6 months, and Forte and Fortissimo subscriptions have a term of 3 years.
2. Upon registration, the student is entitled to one trial lesson and one introductory subscription. A decision regarding a subsequent subscription will then be made.
3. Subscriptions can be purchased for 10 lessons (bi-weekly lessons) or 20 lessons (weekly lessons) of 45 or 60 minutes each.
4. Lesson times are arranged individually between the student and the teacher. Generally, a fixed day of the week and a fixed lesson time are reserved. This time is binding.
Rescheduling is only possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability.
Lessons missed by the student expire at the end of the respective subscription period.5. The studio is closed on public holidays. Lessons that fall on holidays (e.g., Easter, Pentecost, Ascension Day, May 1st, August 1st, Christmas) will be rescheduled.
6. Lessons take place in either Zurich-Seefeld or Zurich-Wollishofen, depending on the teacher and their availability. There is no guarantee of a specific location or teacher.
7. The Classic Vocal Studio operates as a team with several teachers. If a teacher is absent or unavailable (e.g., due to illness, vacation, or professional development), lessons can be continued with another teacher. This does not entitle you to a refund.
II. Registration and conclusion of contract
1. The purchase of a subscription constitutes a legally binding contract.
2. The subscription automatically renews for the same subscription unless it is cancelled in due time – regardless of whether all lessons have been used.
3. The student will receive an invoice via email after completing the subscription.
III. Prices and Payment Terms
1. The subscription price includes the services agreed upon during registration. Details can be found on the website.
2. Payment is made either in full in advance or – for an additional fee – in monthly installments.
3. Payments are made in 6 monthly installments after the subscription has been completed.
4. The total amount is due within 30 days of invoicing if paid in a single payment.
5. Late payment fees will be charged:
1st reminder: CHF 10.–
2nd reminder: CHF 20.–
3rd reminder: CHF 50.–6. If payment is not received, lessons may be suspended until payment is received. There is no entitlement to make up missed lessons.
7. Individual lessons can be booked additionally:
45 minutes – CHF 100.–
60 minutes – CHF 135.–
Individual lessons can be booked independently of subscriptions.IV. Holidays and cancellations
1. Teachers' holidays are communicated in advance. Lessons cancelled by teachers are rescheduled or made up.
2. The student must report absences at least 24 hours in advance by email or telephone.
3. Lessons not cancelled in time are considered taken and forfeited.
4. Regularly cancelled lessons can be made up to a limited extent:
– Mezzopiano: max. 1 per 6 months
– Mezzoforte: max. 2 per 6 monthsThese must be obtained within the subscription period.
5. Different rules apply to Forte and Fortissimo subscriptions (see section V).
V. Forte and Fortissimo subscriptions
1. These subscriptions are flexible in terms of duration within a period of 3 years.
2. The appointment frequency can be determined individually.
3. Cancellations are possible until 9:00 am on the same day without the lesson being charged.
4. The subscription expires after 3 years if not used.
5. Forte and Fortissimo subscriptions can also be paid in installments, but must be paid off in monthly installments for the first 6 months after the subscription is taken out, even though they are valid for 3 years.
6. Lessons are scheduled according to teacher availability.
VI. Workshops
1. Workshops will only take place if the minimum number of participants is reached.
2. Confirmation of the event will be given no later than 4 weeks before the start.
3. The invoice must be paid within 30 days.
4. Cancellation policy:
– Up to 30 days in advance: free of charge
– Up to 14 days in advance: 50%
– Less than 14 days in advance: 100%VII. Refund
1. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable.
2. In exceptional cases (e.g., prolonged illness of a teacher or organizational changes on the part of the studio), a refund or partial refund may be granted as a gesture of goodwill.
VIII. Termination
1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than one month before the subscription expires.
2. If the subscription is not cancelled in due time, it will be automatically renewed.
IX. Liability
1. Participation in the classes is at your own risk. Students are responsible for their own insurance in the event of damages not caused by the studio.
2. The studio accepts no liability for personal belongings.
The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
