      In addition to being a passionate opera singer in her own international career, Chelsey Schill also shares her expertise and passion as a vocal teacher at the Classic Vocal Studio. She teaches her students not only her deep knowledge of singing and music, but also her impressive experience in the field of singing lessons.

      Chelsey Schill is one of the co-founders of the Classic Vocal Studio and, through her long-standing professional career as a singer, has made a significant contribution to making the studio what it is today. Their tireless commitment has led to the Classic Vocal Studio developing into one of the leading singing schools in Switzerland. Her influence and expertise is felt throughout the music scene and has helped many students raise their vocal skills to a professional level.

      Stage experience
      Chelsey Schill, the talented Canadian soprano, has had an impressive career and has sung numerous successful roles across Europe. Her remarkable performances have taken her to renowned opera houses such as the Cologne Opera, the Leipzig Opera, the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon, the Grand Theater de Luxembourg and the Berlin Seefestspiele.

      Among her many roles, her interpretation of the Queen of the Night from Mozart's The Magic Flute, which she has performed throughout Europe, stands out. She also impressed as Musetta in Puccini's “La Bohème” and as Violetta in Verdi's “La Traviata” in Toronto. She had other impressive performances as Marzelline in Beethoven's "Fidelio", Poppea in Handel's "Agrippina", as well as the forest bird in Wagner's "Siegfried" and Woglinde in Wagner's "Götterdämmerung" directed by Graham Vick.

      Chelsey Schill has a wide repertoire and has demonstrated her love for contemporary music since the beginning of her career. She sang in numerous premieres throughout Europe and Canada, including the soprano role in Tomasz Prasqual's opera “The Architecture of Light” in Poznan and Cologne. Further premieres took her to the Grand Theater de Luxembourg, where she successfully embodied Despina in Kerger's "Fintenzauber", as well as to the Lisbon Opera, where she played the role of the green snake in Nune's opera "The Fairy Tale" and the role of Porta-Voz sang in Corte-Real’s “Banksters.”

      As a concert singer, she has performed internationally in numerous concerts, including Beethoven's “9. Symphony” conducted by José Cura, Mendelssohn’s “Elias”, Brahms’ “A German Requiem”, Orff’s “Carmina Burana”, Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and Mozart’s “Requiem”. She also performed successful concerts with the “Lulu Suite” by Alban Berg and the “Faust Scenes” by Robert Schumann.
