Born in Zurich in 1995, Sascha Litschi began his vocal training as part of the classical language Matura with Dr. Amadeus Bärtsch. In addition to numerous performances in the opera course at the Freudenberg Cantonal School, he worked as a baritone in various projects during his high school graduation, e.g. B. at the Zurich Mozart Society or at the organ night in St. Jakob. He studied at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Lina Maria Åkerlund and completed a bachelor's degree there, as well as a Master of Music Pedagogy and a Master of Specialized Music Performance, Soloist. Master classes with José van Dam, Margreet Honig and Prof. Joseph Breinl complement his musical training. He sings regularly and in eight languages ​​at recitals, church services and at numerous other concerts, for example with the FreeOpera Company, the Zurich Concert Choir and the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. He also works in a variety of ways with the extraordinary vocal technique of overtone singing, which he learned from Wolfgang Saus.

My vision
«I consider the opportunity to have gotten to know music as a form of expression to be a great privilege. For singers in particular, it seems to me that enormous wealth and incomparable possibilities arise from the combination of words and music, which is also my greatest goal as a musician: to convey meaning, tell stories, and awaken feelings through the interaction of these two sounds. In concerts and in class, my greatest concern is to convey music, to encourage others to explore for themselves and to make music come alive in the way that I enjoy it myself every day.»
