       Short profile:
Solange Sierro hails from the French-speaking Valais region of Switzerland and began her musical journey with the flute before turning to classical singing. She gained early choral experience and discovered her passion for the solo voice.
After studying at the Haute École de Musique Genève-Neuchâtel, she continued her studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, graduating in 2024. Alongside her performing career, she has taught privately for many years and regularly works with larger ensembles such as the University Hospital Choir and the St. Laurentius Choir in Winterthur.

      Artistic approach
: I guide my students on a path of simplicity and vocal freedom, in a supportive environment where everyone can grow at their own pace. Thanks to my solid knowledge of vocal technique and my stage experience, I provide effective tools to overcome stage fright and achieve lasting progress. My goal remains clear: to liberate the voice and enable every student to develop further, grow vocally, and sing with ease, confidence, and joy.

The soprano performs regularly in concerts and on opera stages throughout Europe. She has sung roles such as Adina ( L'elisir d'amore ) in Bergamo under the direction of Davide Bottarelli, the Queen of the Night ( The Magic Flute ) in Weimar with Tim Ribchester, and Gilda ( Rigoletto ) in Vienna as part of the Vienna Opera Festival under the direction of Toby Purser.

She is also active in the concert arena, performing works such as Mozart's Great Mass in C minor and Coronation Mass, as well as Bach's St. Matthew Passion. In addition, she dedicates herself to contemporary music, including works by Sergei Leonov and Tullio Zanovello.

She recently expanded her artistic practice to include chamber music and founded the Duo Opale together with pianist Roberta Michela. Their program "Love & Spring" has already been presented in Geneva and in Sion as part of the Schubertiade RTS Espace 2.
